'Objects' thrown from moving car in West Berkshire

Three teenagers have been arrested

Police are appealing for witnesses following reports objects were thrown from a moving car on the A4.

At around 7.25pm on Thursday (10/11) officers received a report of objects being thrown at other vehicles from a blue VW Golf travelling along the A4 towards Newbury from Thatcham.

A 13-year-old boy from Hungerford was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damge.

A 15-year-old boy from Hungerford and a 19-year-old man from Reading were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

All three have been released under investigation.

Investigating officer, PC Will Herrington, based at Newbury police station, said:

“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed what happened, or any drives who have dash-cam footage of the incident, to please come forward.
