West Berkshire council chief quits
Nigel Lynn has only been chief executive for three years
West Berkshire Council chief executive Nigel Lynn has decided to step down from his role for personal reasons.
Nigel will be taking leave pending the appointment of an interim Chief Executive, which will take place at an Extraordinary Meeting of Council in early November.
Nigel has been with the Council for three years, and the Council thanks him for his service during that period. The Council wishes Nigel all the best in his future endeavours.
Privilege
Nigel added:
"It's been a privilege to serve the people of West Berkshire for the last three years as Chief Executive of the Council. The energy, commitment and professionalism of my staff and our partners to deliver great services for our residents has been remarkable. I wish the Council every success with its future endeavours, whilst I pursue new opportunities."
