Newbury respite home receives 'outstanding' review
The home for children with physical and learning disabilities has been inspected by Ofsted
The Castle Gate children’s respite home in Newbury has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
Castle Gate, situated in the grounds of the Castle School, provides short breaks for children with physical and learning disabilities and is registered to provide overnight stays for up to six children.
The report praises the aspirational approach of the team and highlights how the service continues to set the bar for high-quality care and support for children and young people. By using monitoring and review systems, the home continuously improves the children’s experiences and ensures that staff are constantly developing their skills.
