Motorcyclist seriously injured in Reading crash

Police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Reading.

At around 4pm on Thursday (10/10), a man was riding a blue and white Lexmoto motorcycle travelling along Portman Road, away from the Oxford Road.

The motorcycle collided with the curb and crashed. The rider, a man in his twenties was seriously injured and was taken to hospital where he remains in a life threatening condition.

PC Martin Danks of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said:

“This collision happened at a very busy time and it is likely to have been witnessed by a number of people.
