Car of missing Kent man found in West Berkshire

Police are 'extremely concerned for his welfare'

Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in tracing a missing 29 year old man.

Doug Carroll, from Tunbridge Wells, was reported missing in Kent, and was last seen on Tuesday (20 April).

It is thought he may have travelled to the Reading area.

Police say they are extremely concerned for his welfare, after his car was found in Compton in West Berkshire.

He is described as 6ft 3ins tall, of slim build with brown hair and brown eyes.

He is believed to have last been seen wearing dark jogging trousers or shorts and a hooded jumper.

Investigating officer Sergeant Stuart McMaster, based at Abingdon police station, said: "Mr Carroll was originally reported missing from the Tunbridge Wells area of Kent, but his car has been located in West Berkshire.

"We are extremely concerned for his welfare and want to make sure that he is well.

"I am urging anybody who believes that they have seen Mr Carroll to call the police immediately on 999, quoting reference number 43210168920."
