Mohammed Subhani, aged 28, of Chrislea Close, Hounslow, was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment in a hearing at Reading Crown Court on 17 February this year. He pleaded guilty to one count of dangerous driving in the same hearing, and upon his release from prison and must take an extended re-test to regain his license.

At 2am on 17 August last year, Kayani drove a black Range Rover SVR into a Mercedes car parked on a residential driveway on Northern Road, forcing the Mercedes into the house.

The porch of the house collapsed, crushing a woman in her forties, causing life-changing injuries.

After crashing into the Mercedes, Kayani got out of the car brandishing a steering lock and confronted the occupants of the damaged house, before getting back in his car and driving away.

Moments later, police stopped the significantly damaged Range Rover on the A4 Bath Road in Slough, but Subhani was driving with Kayani and Mohamoud as passengers. A knife was also located within the driver’s foot well.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Leiagh Ball, of Slough CID, said: “Abdul Kayani drove his vehicle at that property with intent following a feud. As a result, the victim, an innocent mother, was left with life-changing injuries.

“I hope this sentence serves as a deterrent that the police will take these offences seriously. We are committed to keeping our communities safe and holding offenders to account.

“I would like to thank the victim and witnesses for their bravery in coming forward and supporting this investigation and I hope, in time, that the victim recovers from her injuries.”
