Man with Reading connections wanted on recall to prison
Police want to know if you've seen Matthew Haylett
Police in Reading are appealing for the public’s help to find a man who is wanted on recall to prison.
Matthew Haylett, aged 30, is wanted on recall to prison for breaching his licence conditions on 24 March.
Haylett is around 5ft 8ins tall, of average build, and tends to have a black goatee. He is known to frequent Reading.
Investigating officer PC Laura Wright said:
“Enquiries have been ongoing to locate Matthew Haylett since he breached the conditions of his release from prison in March but we are now appealing for the public’s help.
“Officers are aware that Haylett has many links to the Reading area and anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts should please get in touch.
“If you know where Haylett is or may have seen him, call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting incident number 26 of 25 March. If you see him, do not approach him and call 999 instead.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
