Man sentenced to 18 years for rape and child sexual offences in Windsor and West Drayton

A man has been jailed for 18 years for rape and multiple child sexual offences carried out in Windsor and West Drayton.
Adam Bench, aged 47, of Stanwell, Staines Upon Thames, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on 21 November to 18 years behind bars, along with an extended license of four years.
Following an eight-day trial at the same court in September, he was found guilty on multiple charges, including:
- Seven counts of sexual activity with a female child under 16
- Six counts of sexual assault of a female child under 13
- Four counts of rape of a female over 16
- Two counts of assault of a female child under 13 by penetration
- One count of inciting a female child under 16 to engage in sexual activity
Bench was acquitted of one count of inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
Between 2010 and 2022, Bench committed multiple sexual offences against children in West Drayton. He was arrested by the Metropolitan Police on 17th December 2022.
Later, in Windsor, he sexually assaulted a child on multiple occasions between September and December 2024.
He was arrested on 6 December 2024 and charged the following day.
