Motorist robbed and stabbed in Reading
Police say they're looking for three people
Police are looking for three people after a motorist was stabbed and robbed in Reading.
A 37-year-old man was driving down Piggotts Road in Caversham when he was approached by a woman who was asking for directions.
While he was talking to the woman, two men appeared and stabbed his hand. They stole his mobile phone and some cash.
It happened at around 9.40pm on Friday (23/7).
The offenders ran off in the direction of Champion Road, then onto Mill Road and are believed to have gone onto Gosbrook Road.
Descriptions
The first offender is described as a white woman with blonde shoulder length hair, in her mid-twenties and around 5ft 7ins tall. She was wearing dark clothes and a grey top.
The second offender is described as an Asian man in his mid-twenties, around 5ft 8ins tall. He was wearing a face covering which is believed to be a balaclava.
The third offender is described as an Asian man, also in his mid-twenties, around 6ft tall. He was wearing dark blue clothes and a face covering also believed to be a balaclava.
Investigating officer PC Philip Marchant, based at Reading police station, said:
“I am appealing for witnesses to this incident, or anyone who may have information about what happened, to please come forward.
