Man suffers facial injuries after mugging in Bracknell

Police appeal for witnesses and dash cam footage

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 31-year-old man was robbed in Bracknell.

Between 11pm and midnight on Saturday (29/10), the victim was walking under the railway bridge on Ralphs Ride, Bracknell when he was approached by two unknown men who assaulted him in order to steal his mobile phone.

The victim suffered a broken front tooth, cuts and swelling to his top lip and mouth, a bruised nose, right eye and forehead and several bruised ribs, although he did not require hospital treatment.

The phone that was stolen was a Samsung Galaxy S10, black in colour.

Descriptions

The offenders are described as male.

The first offender was white, around 6ft 1ins tall with a medium build, aged in his late teens to early 20s.

He had dark short hair and was wearing a dark grey, possibly matching tracksuit top with a hood and bottoms.

There was a light logo on the front of the tracksuit top.

He was also wearing a dark coloured puffer style coat and a snood over the lower half of his face and was carrying a rucksack.

The second offender was also white and around 6ft 1ins tall.

He was of a larger build with broad shoulders, aged in his late teens to early 20s.

He was wearing a dark tracksuit with a black coat and a hood that was up.

Investigating officer PC Megan Walmsley, based at Loddon Valley police station, said:

“I am appealing to anybody who was in the area of Ralphs Ride in Bracknell on Saturday night and believe that they witnessed this incident to please contact Thames Valley Police.

“If you were driving in the area at around the time of the incident and have dash-cam in your vehicle, please check this and get in touch if it has captured anything that may assist this investigation.
