Man punched unconscious outside Basingstoke railway station

Incident happened on Saturday night

A 25-year-old man has been punched unconscious outside Basingstoke railway station.

A 17-year-old boy was also assaulted.

It happened last Saturday night between 9pm and 9.23pm, the pair were approached by two men on Clifton Terrace before being punched.

The 25-year-old man was knocked unconscious and taken to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

The teenager was left with a swollen jaw.

Descriptions

One of the suspects was described as being mixed race, 6ft tall and aged between 25 and 30. He had dreadlocks and a short beard.

The other suspect was described as being white, 6ft tall and aged between 25 and 30. He had dark hair.
