Man jailed for toddler's kidnap 37 years ago in Bracknell
A 77-year-old man has pleaded guilty
A man has been found guilty of the kidnap and indecent assault of a three-year-old girl in Bracknell in 1986.
After an investigation by the Thames Valley Police Cold Case Team, Robert Frid, aged 77, pleaded guilty to the offences in the town.
Frid kidnapped the girl off the street and indecently assaulted her in his vehicle.
Head of the cold case team, Peter Beirne said:
“Our team will never stop investigating serious unsolved offences.
"We have secured convictions for Frid’s crimes as well as 19 stranger rapes and six murders.
"With advancing forensic technology, we will lock up more offenders".
