Man in his 80s dies following crash in Bagshot
The road on the border with Berkshire was shut for several hours
A man in his 80s has died following a serious crash on Bagshot High Street on Friday (23 April).
The collision, involving a black Volvo V60 happened at around 1.45pm outside the Cedar Tree Public House.
The road was shut by police for several hours and re-opened at 5pm.
The driver of the Volvo, a man in his 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the crash and his next of kin have been informed.
Surrey Police is now appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage.
Officers believe several people saw the crash happen and stopped to help the victim and performed first aid.
