Man charged following Wokingham pub stabbing

Two men were attacked outside the GIG House in Denmark Street at the weekend

A man has been charged in connection with an assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in Wokingham.

Ki Alvis Of Lee, aged 23 of Carey Road, Wokingham, was charged with two counts of wounding with intent.

The charge is in relation to an incident which took place outside the GIG House, Denmark Street, at around 3am on Sunday.

Alvis Of Lee will appear at Reading Crown Court on 21 March.

A 23-year-old man from Frimley, who was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article in a public place, using threatening/abusive language to cause harassment and attempting to cause GBH with intent, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
