A man's been charged with burglary and car theft in Basingstoke.

It's after police were called to reports of a break in on Wednesday, 14 August, in Abbey Road.

A Nissan Qashqai car was stolen, along with cash, jewellery, and bank cards.

The stolen bank cards were reported as having been used.

The car was found later that morning on Bennet Close.

Police say 46 year-old Daniel Malcolm, of no permanent address, has been charged with burglary, theft of a car, and three counts of fraud by false representation.
