Reading man charged over murder investigation after body found
A 46 year old man had been reported missing since last month
A man has been charged in connection with an ongoing murder investigation in Reading.
The body of 46 year old Duane Denny was discovered in Erith, in south east London, on Wednesday (15 September).
Duane, who was known by his surname ‘Denny’, was reported missing to Thames Valley Police on 24 August, after which a missing person investigation was launched.
46 year old Nyiah Williams, of Hadrian Walk East in Reading, has been charged with one count of murder, one count of preventing a lawful burial, one count of perverting the course of justice and one count of criminal damage.
Williams is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court today (20 September).
