A man has been charged over an assault Reading.
22 year old George Hassall, of Harts Lane, Burghclere, Hampshire, was charged with one count of Section 18 wounding with intent.
The charge relates to a report of an 18-year-old woman being stabbed on Wensley Road, Reading, at around 2.05pm on Wednesday (24/11).
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries and has since been discharged.
Hassall was remanded in custody at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday and is next due to appear Reading Crown Court on 7 January 2022.
