Man charged with murder after death of child in Bracknell

A man has been charged with murder and child neglect following the death of a young boy in Bracknell last year.

Benjamin Stickings, 25, of York Road, Camberley, Surrey, was arrested on 11 September and charged overnight by Thames Valley Police.

The charges relate to an incident on 20 November 2024 in Priestwood Square, Bracknell, where a child under the age of two was found with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital but sadly died two days later, on 22 November 2024.

Stickings has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of child neglect.

He is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court today (12 September 2025).

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
