A man from Berkshire has pleaded guilty to a string of offences following an incident at Royal Holloway University.

29-year-old Thomas Cramer of Cardwell Crescent in Ascot, was charged with offences including harassment and racially aggravated public order.

Surrey Police say that over the weekend staff and students at the university in Egham reported that they had been photographed without their knowledge or consent.

The images had then been uploaded to Instagram, some of which were accompanied by derogatory comments.

Mr Cramer was also charged with possession of Class B drugs (cannabis), as well as two driving offences, including driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving with no insurance.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Guildford Crown Court on 23 June.
