Basingstoke man arrested on suspicion of murder
It's after a body was found at an address in the town
Detectives in Basingstoke continue to investigate the death of a woman in her 50s who was found at an address in Maldive Road.
Officers attended the address after being called by ambulance colleagues at 4pm on Tuesday 19 December.
The woman’s next-of-kin are being supported by specialist officers.
The result of a Home Office post mortem was inconclusive.
A 47-year-old man from Basingstoke, who had been arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on police bail until Tuesday 19 March, pending further enquiries.
