Lightening partially destroys two Andover properties

A 70-year-old man has escaped unharmed after two houses in Andover were partly destroyed by lightening.
Smoke could be seen rising from the collapsed roof of the semi detached properties on Mercia Avenue.
Hampshire Police are asking people to avoid the area.
Ambulance crews also treated at woman at the scene but determined that hospital treatment was not required.
