Lewis Capaldi is taking a break from touring and seems to have cancelled all shows for the rest of the year - including Reading Festival.

The 26 year old singer of hits including 'Before You Go' and 'Someone You Loved', announced in a social media post that he will be taking a break from touring "for the foreseeable future".

The singer says he needs time to adjust to the impact of Tourette's and to get his "mental and physical health in order".

He visibly struggled during a set at Glastonbury.

Organisers of the Reading and Leeds Festivals say they're gutted that he won't be performing - but say health comes first.

They say they're now working to book a replacement act.

This year's Reading line-up includes the likes of Billie Eilish, Foals, Sam Fender, Loyle Carner and Becky Hill.
