Newbury MP Laura Farris has told us she wants to get a conversation going about mental health.

She's calling on people to join her for a community forum tomorrow morning looking at some of the problems that have arisen as a result of the lockdown.

She says:

"I've got some of the most amazing charities participating and I just want to get the conversation moving on this and get a sense of where the support is and flagging what support is available and just creating a kind of bedrock of mental health support"

The MP for Newbury says she's concerned about anxiety amongst pupils who've maybe got behind in their studies having been forced to miss school, and adults who've found themselves facing problems they've never previously had to deal with due to the lockdowns.

The FREE 'Greenham Trust Community Forum – Mental Health and Wellbeing in West Berkshire' takes place tomorrow (Friday 30th April 2021) at 10am and the MP says everyone is welcome.
