Police are appealing for witnesses to a kidnapping in Bracknell.
At around 7.30pm on Saturday (27/1), four offenders attacked a man in his twenties on an e-scooter in Martins Lane.
The offenders then tried to kidnap him by forcing him into the boot of their dark-coloured Audi saloon car.
Fortunately, a member of the public intervened, preventing the victim from being taken away.
The victim suffered minor bruising and swelling but did not require hospital treatment.
The offenders are described as black men aged between 20 and 30 and wearing all black clothing.
The Audi, likely to be a grey A6 from around 2010, was driving around without its lights on despite the darkness.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Jonathan Greenlaw said:
“I understand this incident may cause some concern but I would like to reassure the community that we believe that was a targeted incident with no threat to the wider public.
“I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident to please get in touch with us.

“Particularly footage of the vehicle involved which would've stood out because it was predominantly driving without lights in the hours of darkness.
