Police investigate hit and run in Reading
A witness appeal has been launched following a crash between a car and a motorcycle in Reading.
The collision happened at around 5.25pm on Friday (15 December) on Southampton Street.
Thames Valley Police say the driver of the car, a grey saloon, failed to stop at the scene and the 18 year old motorcyclist sustained face and leg injuries.
Investigating officer, PC Rob Storey, of the Roads Policing Unit, said:
“I am appealing to the driver of the car, who failed to stop at the scene, or anyone who knows the driver to contact Thames Valley Police.
“Anyone who witnessed the collision or has footage from the area who has not already spoken to the force, please contact us.
