Police investigate indecent exposure case in Newbury

A man in his sixties exposed himself to a young woman

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following an exposure incident in Newbury.

At around 1.30pm on Saturday (17/8), a man indecently exposed himself to a woman, in her late teens, after asking her for directions at the junction of Oddfellows Road and West Mills.

The offender is described as white, in his sixties, around 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins tall and wearing a blue buttoned shirt and trousers with a zip.

Witnesses

Police staff investigator Charis Griffiths said:

“We are appealing for witnesses following this exposure.

“Anyone with information can contact police by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240395315.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
