Police issue image over racial abuse incident in Reading

Police want to speak to man in connection with hate crime investigation

Police have published an image of a man officers would like to speak to following a hate crime in Reading.

At around 8.30am on Friday 30 April the victim and her two children were racially abused by a man who was walking past their vehicle at the Meadway junction with Dee Road.

PC Daniel Conboy, based at Reading police station, said:

“I am appealing for anyone who recognises this man, or if you believe it could be you, to please get in touch.

“If you have any information, please make a report online or call 101 quoting reference 43210183571.

“If you wish to remain 100% anonymous you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
