A woman has suffered life-changing injuries following a serious road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Hungerford.

At around 4.30pm yesterday (29 July), a grey Ford Fiesta was involved in a collision with a pedestrian, a woman in her eighties, on the Bath Road in Hungerford, opposite Cobbs Farm Shop.

The woman was taken to hospital with serious life changing injuries and remains in stable condition.

Investigating officer, PC John Kelly, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this collision, which has resulted in serious injuries to a woman.

“I would ask anyone who was driving in the area at the time to check their dash-cam footage, as it may have captured something that could help with our enquiries.

“If you saw the collision, have any information or hold any digital media that might assist our investigation, no matter how small it may seem"
