Jewellery and medals stolen in house break-in in Basingstoke

Police want to know if anyone has seen the items for sale online

Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of a house break-in in Basingstoke with several valuable items stolen.

It happened on Monday (23 August) between the hours of 8am and 3.30pm, at a property on Buckskin Lane.

Jewellery and medals missing include:

A women’s gold Rolex watch, with a gold bracelet

A Clogau gold heart shaped locket, with an angel inside

Two 1st place gold coloured medals

A number of 9-carat gold earrings

Damaged gold items, including a ring and chain bracelet

Two amethyst earrings, mounted in silver

A silver locket on a silver chain, which a purple stone set in it

A faceted amethyst stone, mounted in silver, on a silver chain

A ‘Pooh Bear’ watch

A small black leather jewellery box, used to store the items

Officers are asking anyone in the area at the time who saw anything suspicious, or has dash cam footage or CCTV, to contact them.

They are also asking people who have seen the items on sale online to get in touch.
