Police appeal over Hook restaurant burglary

They've issued CCTV image

Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a report of a burglary at the Hook Tandoori restaurant on Station Road.

At around 7am on Saturday 18 May, entry was gained to the property and cash, documents and a charity box containing money was stolen.

A CCTV image has now been published.

A Police spokesperson said:

"We appreciate his face is covered, but officers are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise his clothing or saw him in the area.

"Officers believe the man was in Hook for around an hour before the incident. Do you have any CCTV images, doorbell or dashcam footage which may help our investigation?

"Anyone with information is asked to contact 101, quoting the reference number 44240208327. "
