Man charged with attempted murder in Hook

It's in connection with an incident yesterday afternoon

Police investigating an attempted murder in Hook have charged a man.

They were called just after 5pm on Monday, 28 March, to reports of a 55-year-old man having a crossbow fired at him and also reported being strangled.

He received minor injuries.

36-year-old Dane Perry of King Johns Road in North Warnborough, has been charged and remanded with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was due to appear before Basingstoke Magistrates Court this morning (30 March).
