Police investigate fail to stop collision in Reading
Police say car involved may have damage to its windscreen
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses, following a fail to stop road traffic collision in Reading this morning (17/10).
Around 4am, a woman in her forties was seriously injured after being hit by a car on the A329 Caversham Road, near the junction of Abattoirs Road.
She remains in hospital at this time.
The vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene.
Police believe the car involved will have visible damage to the front, including a broken windscreen. While they know it was a car, they're still working to confirm the make and model.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Robert Chevalier said: “We are appealing for anyone in the area of the A329 Caversham Road, Reading to please check your doorbell cameras, dashcam and CCTV footage to see if it captured this vehicle leaving the scene and to please share it with us via our online portal.
