Police appeal over hit and run incident in Bracknell

A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle that failed to stop

Police are appealing for witness and dash-cam footage after a driver failed to stop at a collision that happened in Bracknell.

At around 6.20pm on Tuesday (26/3), a white SUV-style vehicle was involved in a collision with a motorcycle on Bagshot Road.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries and has since been discharged.

The white SUV-style vehicle did not stop at the scene.

Witnesses

Investigating officer, PC Matthew Ames-White, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said:

“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“The white SUV did not stop at the scene and we are also appealing to anyone who may have information that may lead to the identity of the vehicle and its driver.

“If any motorists with dash-cams were in the area around the time of the collision on Wednesday, please check any footage in case it may have captured something that could help the investigation.
