Police are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run incident in Reading, which left a pedestrian in hospital.
A man in his thirties was hit by a car as he crossed the Wokingham Road opposite Palmer Park at five to seven on Friday morning.
The car failed to stop.
The man was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital for treatment.
Investigating Officer PC Gareth Miles, from the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit at Thames Valley Police, said: “This incident has left a pedestrian with injuries requiring treatment in hospital.
“We do not have any details for the car involved and would appeal to anybody that witnessed the incident to please get in touch.
“Also, if you were driving in the area around the time of the collision and have a dash-cam, or if you live nearby and have a CCTV camera or a video doorbell, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist us and get in touch if you have.
