Man stabbed in the stomach during fight in Newbury
Four people have been arrested on suspicion of affray
An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed during a fight in Newbury.
The incident, involving four people, happened shortly before 7pm on the 7th of May in Sterling Gardens, Hectors Way.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was treated at the scene for an injury to his abdomen.
Four people have been arrested on suspicion of affray and have been released on police bail until 29 July.
Investigating officer PC Daniel Parnell said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed what happened to please contact us.
“I would particularly like to hear from anybody who may have been walking in this area during the altercation.
