Flooding cancels trains between Reading and Gatwick

It comes as 27 hour long yellow weather warning has been issued

Forecasters are warning more downpours across the South East today could add to issues with flooding from earlier this week.

A 27-hour long yellow Met Office alert for heavy rain is now in force in Berkshire and North Hampshire and lasts until 9am on Friday (27 September),

Flooding has started to disrupt trains with Great Western Railway cancelling all trains between Reading and Gatwick this morning due to Flooding at Ash,

A shuttle bus service is being requested as well as local bus ticket acceptance.

Disruption is expected to last until the end of the day.
