Firefighters put out fire in central Reading block of flats
Flames were seen coming from a fourth floor balcony
Around a dozen firefighters have put out a fire in a block of flats in central Reading.
They were called to Jeffrey Place on the Caversham Road after flames were seen coming from a fourth floor balcony.
It's not believed anyone was hurt in the incident, but the fire may have damaged more than one apartment.
One resident told us how he didn't hear any fire alarm and it was only people waving to him to leave from an opposite block that alerted him.
After the fire was out Police told residents they couldn't return to their homes because they were waiting for Police sniffer dogs to arrive as part of an investigation in the cause of the fire.
