Motorcyclist from Basingstoke dies in A339 collision

Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a fatal collision on the A339 yesterday.

At about 1.50pm on Tuesday 1 August, there was a collision between a blue Suzuki motorcycle and a black Jaguar F-Pace on the A339 near Alton.

The motorcyclist, a 38-year-old man from Basingstoke, died from his injuries. His family is being supported by specialist officers.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw this collision or either vehicle in the moments leading up to it.
