Drug arrest after car spotted driving badly in Andover
Police moved in after spotting the car on Saxon Way
A man has been arrested for drug supply offences in Andover after officers conducted a proactive vehicle stop.
Officers were patrolling on Saxon Way at around 2.30pm yesterday (22 August) when they spotted a vehicle driving erratically.
After the vehicle was stopped, a quantity of cash and suspected Class A drugs were located and seized.
The driver, a 32-year-old man from Bristol, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply, possession of an offensive weapon, driving without insurance, and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
He remains in custody at this time.
