Driver sought after a serious collision in Crowthorne
A Golf collided with a red Ford Focus at the New Wokingham Road junction
Thames Valley Police is trying to locate the driver of a vehicle involved in a serious collision in Crowthorne.
A red Ford Focus and a grey Volkswagen Golf were in collision in the New Wokingham Road at the junction with Merryman Drive at about 11.45pm last night (15/3).
The driver of the Ford Focus, an 18-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries. He remains in hospital at this time.
The passenger in the Volkswagen Golf, a 32-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with serious but life threatening injuries. She remains in hospital at this time.
Investigating officer, PC Gareth Miles of the Roads Policing unit, said: “The driver of the Volkswagen Golf did not remain at scene.
“If you are the driver of the Golf or know who or where they are, please contact the police immediately.
“I would also appeal to anyone who has information or footage from the area and hasn’t already contact the police to come forward.
