Dogs rescued from house fire in Andover
A woman was also treated for smoke inhalation
Two dogs have been rescued after a fire broke out at a house in Andover.
Fire crews were called Tollgate Road at 12:04 yesterday (November 15).
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and managed to local the spaniels in the home, which were carried to safety.
A woman was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene and was left in the care of paramedics.
Its thought the blaze was caused by a candle being left unattended.
Andover Crew Manager, James Street, said:
“My team worked really hard and were able to find the dogs and pick them up. They were then taken to a vet by a family member.
“Please always ensure candles are out.”
