Deliveroo rider attacked and robbed in Reading
He had his e-bike stolen
A Deliveroo rider in his twenties has been attacked and had his electric bike stolen in Reading.
It happened on Addington Road on Monday 29th September.
The Deliveroo rider was left with minor injuries to his mouth, arm and leg.
A Thames Valley police spokesperson said "Shortly before 6.50pm on Monday, the victim, who was a Deliveroo rider, was attacked by two men in Addington Road.
"One of the men then rode the victim’s electric bicycle away with the other offender leaving on foot; they may have then got into a silver vehicle, possibly a Toyota.
"The victim, a man in his twenties, sustained minor injuries to his mouth, arm and leg, but he did not require hospital treatment.
"The offenders are both described as white men. One had a bald head and was wearing a grey t-shirt and blue trousers, while the other had a beige t-shirt and dark-coloured trousers."
