Cyclist suffers broken leg after Reading collision

A cyclist suffered a broken leg after a collision in Reading.

A vehicle reversing out of a parking bay hit a man in his twenties on.

The driver stopped and helped the cyclist but did not exchange details.

The cyclist has since been discharged from hospital.

No arrests have been made at this stage of the investigation.

Investigating officer, PC Erin Attride, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision that left a cyclist with a broken leg to please come forward.

“If you were driving in the area around the time of the collision and have a dash-cam, or if you have CCTV cameras or a video doorbell nearby, please check your recordings in case they have captured something that could assist us.

“Anyone with information or footage should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43260041412.”
