Three arrests over kidnapping in Crowthorne

Three men have been arrested in connection with a kidnapping in Crowthorne.

A 33-year-old man, a 22-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, all from Bracknell were arrested today (27/9) on suspicion of kidnap. They all remain in custody.

The arrests are in connection with an incident between 9.30pm and 10pm on Wednesday (25/9) in Crowthorne and Wokingham.

Targeted

Investigating officer Detective Constable Georgia Martin said:

“I understand that this offence may cause concern in the community but we believe that the individuals involved are known to each other and that this was a targeted and isolated incident.

“We still believe there is no threat to the wider public.”
