Police issue CCTV over criminal damage in Reading

Police say the man pictured may have information about the incident

Thames Valley Police is releasing a CCTV image of a man officers would like to speak to as he may have vital information regarding an incident of criminal damage in Reading.

The incident occurred at 5.25pm on Monday 1 August in Cumberland Road, Reading.

The victims have been sitting in their vehicle when the offender has punched the car wing mirror off. When the two victims have exited the vehicle, the offender has attempted to punch them both.

Investigating officer, PC Megan Rowlands, based at Reading police station, said:

“We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch.

“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
