Woman killed in crash in Berkshire

She was riding a motorbike which collided with a car

A woman has died in a crash between a car and a motorbike in Berkshire.

It happened in Bracknell on Tuesday night (20 July) at around 7:30pm on the southbound slip road off the A3095 (Mill Lane) towards Ellesfield Avenue.

The motorcylist, in her thirties, was on a Triumph Daytona motorcycle.

She suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her family have been told.

The car involved is a Mercedes Benz C220. The driver was not injured.

Thames Valley Police are asking for witnesses to contact them.

Senior Investigating officer, Sergeant Chris Howlett of Three Mile Cross Roads Policing Unit, said: "We are investigating the circumstances of this collision in which a woman has sadly died. Our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.

"We are carrying out enquiries but would ask anyone who may have witnessed this collision, or has dash-cam that may have captured the incident to please come forward.

"Anyone with information should call 101 or report online quoting reference 43210322906."
