Two cars collide head-on in Reading

Police are asking for dash cam and witnesses to come forward after a head-on collision in the Tilehurst area of Reading.

A black Mercedes and a silver Hyundai crashed at 3.35 on Valentine's day afternoon on the Meadway, near its junction with Dee Road.

Police say just before the collision the Mercedes hit 10 wooden posts pulling them out of the ground

PC Michael Greaves-Hurd, based at Reading police station, said:

“I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward.

“I am also appealing for anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the collision or any footage of the vehicles prior to the collision to get in touch.

“Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference 43220068921.”
