The Watermill Theatre in Newbury is staging its Christmas Fair today and tomorrow.

Local independent businesses will be there selling Christmas gifts, jewellery, baked goods, and clothing.

The Watermill’s own Cafè Bar will be open too - serving festive drinks and treats, including mulled wine and mince pies to help people to feel festive.

Claire Murray, Executive Director at The Watermill Theatre said: “We’re so excited to once again invite people to join us in celebrating this festive season with our Christmas Fair. With a range of locally made produce, this is a perfect place to get your Christmas shopping off to a fun start! All the proceeds from this market will help us to continue our work with and within the local community, helping to reduce social isolation, building confidence and developing communication skills.”

Entry costs £3 per person and under-16s go free.

As an independent charity, this event forms an important part of the Watermill’s fundraising to enable a range of activities for children and young people.
