Details of huge Christmas Carnival in west Berkshire revealed
The event will run for 35-days
Newbury Racecourse has revealed the full programme of attractions for The Great Christmas Carnival at Newbury Racecourse.
The Carnival is brought to Berkshire by Underbelly the producers of the acclaimed Edinburgh’s Christmas, Christmas in Leicester Square, and Christmas in Trafalgar Square.
The large-scale festive winter wonderland event will take place in the centre of the racecourse over a 35-day period and will officially open to the public from Sunday 27th November, running until 2nd January.

Having been working on this with our partners Underbelly for several years, we know it will be a great event that will appeal to a wide range of audience groups locally and further afield. The event will feature a whole host of attractions, including theme park rides such as the The Greatest Hits Radio Big Wheel, the Vintage Carousel and the Fun House. For thrill seekers, the Carnival will feature the Spinning Coaster and a Giant Rollercoaster.
there'll be a Christmas Tree Maze, and younger guests can visit Father Christmas’ Grotto, where children can meet the man himself and be read a special Christmas story.
Additionally, guests can pull on their skates and glide across the Ice Rink.
The Great Christmas Carnival will also include an expansive Christmas Market, featuring the Nordic Nook bar with a fire pit and the Apres Alpine bar, an Alpine style beer hall. Everything from European produce and traditional festive refreshments will be on offer, including mulled wine, mince pies and raclette, as well as delicious festive street food.
