Two men charged over stabbing in Wokingham

The men will appear in court next month

Two men have been charged after a stabbing incident in Wokingham.

The charges are in connection with an incident in Longs Way, Wokingham, on Saturday (14/8)

Charges

Billy Owens, aged 34, of no fixed abode was charged on Thursday (19/8) with a count of Section 18 GBH and possession of an offensive weapon/ bladed article in a public place. He was also charged with two counts of common assault.

Alexander Morris, aged 31, of Longs Way, Wokingham, was charged on Wednesday (18/8) with Section 18 GBH, as well as possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Remanded

Both Morris and Owens were remanded and are due to appear in Reading Crown Court on September 20.
